It is hard for me to believe that in one week´s time I will have traveled around Buenos Aires, gone back to Rhode Island, repacked and will be on a plane bound for Salt Lake. How is it possible to do so much in so little time?
Sally and I had a wonderful time! I am so glad I came. She and I really bonded over this trip. Yesterday I wandered around Mendoza one last time while Sally was in class and then chilled in the hostel common room with some Australians. Sally and I went to some restaurant on the tenth floor of the building. It was beautiful. Decent food. Bad wine - too acidic (more than likely because some wine from its first stages had been mixed with wine that had aged in oak for a while hence deluting it and saving time and money - the things you learn at bodegas). HA! My wine tasting skills are improving. I still can´t get the whole ¨smell the plum, oak, cherries and lemon.¨
I have nothing to do for a couple of hours. Will probably go get lunch and then sit around and read. Then it is off to Buenos Aires for a three nights and three days. Should be an interesting adventure to go around without Sally as a translator!
