A Bad Night

Well, we can look at this in positive light. Our country is brilliant at staying in the middle. We swung heavily right. Now, we are slamming left. And within a few years, we'll either be back in the middle or slamming right again. Hopefully, in the meantime we won't have any major harm done. :-)

In other bad news. My poor brother jammed two of his fingers playing soccer the other night (he fell), and he has mallet finger (otherwise known as baseball finger) which means his finger droops at the joint because he tore the ligament that holds the finger up. We are hoping he can continue to play the guitar and piano again to his liking. Only time will tell. His fingers will be in splints for the next six weeks.

On the good side. I got to take an elderly lady to vote today. I had just finished voting. I was talking to my neighbor who was running for town counsel and he got a phone call that an elderly woman in the senior living center was unable to get transportation to vote because her ride was in the hospital. So, I promptly got in my car and took her. It felt great to be in a position to help someone by doing something so simple.

Well, everyone . . . now we can make fun of and blame the democrats and Obama for every bad thing that happens to this country for the next four years! That'll be a nice CHANGE! Cheers!
