Skiing in Boots That Fit . . .

Makes skiing a lot more fun!! So, it is wonderful to say that I like skiing again. It really tires me out quickly (I don't know how I ever use to get up there at 9am and last until 3pm!). But, I'm doing well. My knees are holding out fairly well too, and I have learned to stop when my body says stop!

I am having a lovely time up here at Snowbird. And, I have started a delightful book called Plain Truth. It is a terrific book, and I think I may have it finished before I leave. Speaking of leaving, I go back to Rhode Island in one week! Pretty hard to imagine that vacation is over (I'm sort of getting used to it! Hahahaha!)

Those of us already back at school envy your long break (though I'll be done with the semester by the first full week of May!).
My sister, while snowboarding, said that you don't ever take "the last run of the day" because that is the one you get hurt on. I think that's because we all have a desire to push ourselves just a little bit longer and further than we should. If more people listened to their bodies in terms of stopping when their bodies say stop there would be a lot fewer accidents.
